Time that never got written down

Client and matter attribution

Projects carry a client; every session resolves to both. Time by client, by matter, and by the person who did it.

Rate cards and billable value

Effective-dated cost and bill rates per person and per role, so the value of an hour is the value it had on the day.

Per-session privacy

Any session can be marked Busy: teammates see that you were working, not what on. A workspace-wide floor can make that the default for everyone.

Encrypted by field, not just at rest

Everything a person types — session text, notes, matter and client names, documents — is stored as an AES-256-GCM envelope under a per-workspace key. Search runs on blind indexes, never on plaintext.

Audit trail

Every role change, membership change and credential event is written to an append-only log, with a non-tenant mirror that survives workspace deletion.

Conflict-safe by design

One workspace never sees another. Row-level security is enforced in the database on every query, including background jobs.
