Kiantu

For agencies and studios

Know which clients
are actually profitable.

Kiantu records work as it happens — from a sentence, a calendar entry or a commit — then turns it into utilisation, billable hours and cost per client. Nobody fills in a timesheet on Friday afternoon and guesses.

Built for agencies, studios and consultancies — and the AI agents working alongside them.

The Friday-afternoon reconstruction

Utilisation reports are only as good as the timesheets under them, and timesheets are written from memory days later. The number that reaches the partner meeting is a reconstruction, and everyone in the room knows it. Kiantu measures the week while it happens instead — and shows you the coverage, so you can see what it could not see.

What Kiantu already does

Everything below is live today. Anything on the near-term list is marked as such, so nothing here is a promise you can't use this week.

Rate cards, per person and per role

Cost and bill rates, effective-dated. Every session resolves to the rate that applied on the day the work happened, not the rate in force today.

Cost and revenue by client, project and department

Time rolls up as both spend and billable value, filterable by client, project, goal, work type and tag. Export any view as CSV.

Utilisation and capacity

Available hours per person — working hours minus booked time off — against what was actually tracked. Per person, per team, per month.

Estimate vs actual, per item

One estimate per piece of work, scored against everything spent on it across every sitting and every day it was carried. How you learn what a deck really costs.

Billable vs non-billable

Work types separate client work from internal work and new business, so utilisation means the thing you actually manage against.

Client-facing exports Soon

CSV today, with the same filters as the on-screen report. PDF export is on the near-term list.

What you'll be looking at

Screens from the running app. The organisation in them is simulated — the software is not.

Kiantu Reports: total time, intentional vs reactive over a quarter, and time by department with cost and billable value.
A quarter of work by department, with spend against billable value. No timesheet was filled in to produce it.
Kiantu Capacity report: people, committed, tracked and time off, broken down by team and by person.
Utilisation per person against real availability — working hours minus booked time off.
Kiantu Estimation report: estimate versus actual per item, with sessions and re-estimates.
Estimate against actual, per piece of work. Scoped by item, not by sitting — so fragmentation is shown separately.
